How does the review work?
First you fill in this form. We send your details to the finance company and it sends you a link by SMS or email to complete the bank verification: just follow the steps. When the finance company replies, we call you or message you on WhatsApp with the answer and the terms. If it's approved, you sign the finance agreement and the car is yours.
What is the bank verification?
It's how finance companies check your identity, income and spending in a few minutes, without you having to send any paperwork. From the link you receive, you choose your bank and give the company permission to view your account transactions. That's what it uses to assess the financing.
Is it safe?
Yes. The verification is done on the finance company's secure page; the company is supervised and the process is regulated by European payment services rules. It's only a check to assess the financing. Your bank login is only entered on that page: nobody from Plata Garage will ever ask you for it, by phone or WhatsApp.
Does applying commit me to anything?
No. Applying is free and doesn't commit you to buying the car or accepting the financing. Before you sign anything you'll receive all the terms in writing (interest rate, APR, term and monthly payment).
